BIO
Hailing from Greensboro, NC, Rabbit Fighter has a rock and roll heart inspired by 1970s arena rock and more recent alt/rock-influenced grooves. Their songs are socially-conscious at heart,
with plenty of poetic late-night love songs in the mix that are eternal and transcend spacetime.
Rabbit Fighter's musical influences are legion, from Friday night party sounds such as The Replacements and Buddy Holly to the late-70s new and no-wave brutalists Blondie and Wipers. Sonically, they have a Birthday Party-inspired rhythm section, with a vocalist that channels the best of John Cafferty. Cinematically, Rabbit Fighter sounds like The Warriors, Times Square, and FM.

As the kids used to say, "It's got a good beat, and you can dance to it."
The band's seasoned players are known for their musicianship in the North Carolina indie music scene, playing in bands that surpass genre expectations and inform Rabbit Fighter's singular sound. When not songwriting, the band can be found reading philosophies of social change and disruption, making plans for a better tomorrow, restoring vintage music equipment, engaging with the literature of cinema, and speaking the language of cats.
